You Call Me A Mountain....and I Call You The Sea

As promised....the gorgeous couple from the video in the post below had another just as enchanting video for the engagement party and save the date (both by Bob Nicolas.)

1st Video- Save the date the
2nd Video- Engagement Party

I think the save the date video is super creative and uniquely fresh. And the couple being super HOT, doesn't hurt, eh!? But, on a serious not you can truly see how talented Bob and his team are with both of these video's.

Also, how much do you love the 1st speech in the engagement video. This couple definitely seem like ABSOLUTE ROCKSTARS! Hope you enjoy.

Magical Memories

Another artistically beautiful video by Sid and Mili Ghosh of Memories in Motion . They really never do stop to amaze me and can bring out the best of emotions. Just by watching this video you can truly see just how magical this couple is. From reading the brief description on the Memories in Motion website and by watching the video you can see that every event at their wedding was inspired by a different culture or region of the world (such a great idea!!!). Also, notice the phenominal clothing choices of Jiten and Nisha- Can we say SPECTACULAR!!!! Or better yet, can I ask her to come shopping with me every year?

PS...I know this is going to be a little backwards, but after I saw this video by Memories in Motion, I just had to see if there were any weddings pictures, or save the date videos and I did find some...so look out for those. You will not be disappointed!!!

I can not wait to begin my Life with you....

This video shot by Turning Point Productions is hands down, one of the most beautiful genuine video's I have seen. I mean seriously what a breath-taking speech the groom made. I was lucky enough to find this video through one of my friends who is truly the most talented photographer (more to come on him later) but please take a preview beforehand-  http://www.mariciphoto.com/

Invitation Idea- Intro Video

So I have a question for all the brides getting married in India, or another country BUT having the reception in your native country- What type of invitations do you send? How do you invite people to the reception?

Okay I lied, I didn't really have a question for you, but more of an answer or you could call it a nice solution. Take a look at this very entertaining video BY The Shaadi Story. It's such a cute way to invite your guests, while showing them the personality of your significant other. Also, just imagine what a great conversation starter its going to be for your guests. I mean I can just imagine an uncle asking "So that one big humongous bar with mango lassi's- will the lassi's have vodka beta?" By the way just an FYI, Mango Lassi Vodka's are my favorite!

I actually found this video on Maharani Weddings, and It's actually the favorite video of the month and I can totally tell why. What a great video and even better couple!

Wedding Highlights Video by A&A Video

So I wanted to share this freaking awesome Wedding highlights Video I found on Indian Wedding Site. I mean there were some really unique things I saw:
  • The LED Dance Floor- I mean how cool is that! I want one in my bedroom.
  • The lounge/club decor- perfect for this reception and the wedding party! Love the table lamps for centerpieces!
  • The Wedding Party and their Wigs/ Boxer Outfits for the reception entrance. I mean how cute!
  • The Brides hair piece during the reception- very chic!
  • The Karate Dance?? Don't know how to explain it- must see for yourself- but let me say AWESOME!

The Wedding Filmer

There are so many amazing and talented videographers/cinematographers throughout the states, Canada, and the UK but I hadn't found any that I truly liked from India, well that is until I came across some truly beautiful video's by The Wedding Filmer. Vishal Punjabi who heads the Wedding Filmer, was previously a filmmaker for Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and has also produced documentaries for international artists such as Akon and musician duo Vishal Shekhar. But the times of Bollywood are behind him and he is now taking the wedding scene by storm with his creativity and his eye for details.

Take a look at one of his recent video's below. The brides words to the groom definitely touches my heart.

My Concept or Yours?

I remember when my sister got married 10 years ago, her wedding video's were recorded on VHS (all 10 of them)... I don't think people nowadays even know what VHS stands for let alone watch 10 videos of footage. Nowadays, you can not only get your wedding events on DVD, but there's HD, blue-ray and you can even get a video montage or flashback video which can summarize ALL of your events in about 30 minutes.  It's amazing how far we have progressed with technology. "Yipppie" , you say? Well, as I always say things always get better and better. This past year or two, on every imaginable wedding blog or website I have seen numerous "concept video's". Some of them AMAZING, some of them very unique, and some of them that are just out of this world.

You ask, "What exactly is a concept video?" Have you ever imagined making your own music video? Or imagined having your proposal on video for all to see? Well, that's exactly what a concept video is. It's an idea that you make into a short film that you can show at your reception, use as a save-the-date or even send to your guests as a thank you. It's really what you make of it. So start figuring out with your hubby- my concept or yours?

Here's a video all sports fans will love. The couple Sapna and Sanjeev used their concept video as their wedding invitation. Each of these DVD's was included with an insert of all the wedding functions. I must say pretty creative and cute!

And, I found the video below after I stalked Hakim Sons Films online (to be more precise my bff Google helped me out). No, I don't need to be arrested unless I'm arrested for being AWESOME.

Memories in Motion

I had to have a post dedicated to Memories in Motion!

Cinematographer Mili Ghosh's videos are some of the most creative I have seen. I have been following her and her husband Sid's work since I saw a video of a Chicago couple's wedding about 2 year's ago at Navy Pier. She has filmed all over the country and in many parts of the world. If you get a chance check out her website and many of her more recent video's especially of the couple's who got married in Udaipur, India. The video's will make you wish you were either getting married again or getting married very soon!

I hope one day when I do get married, I get lucky enough to have her capture my special moments. I hope this brightens up your work week as much as it does mine

The video below capture's the couple Reshma and Harsheel's wedding journey. PS. the photo's from their wedding are just as beautiful as the couple (post to follow soon)
