2011 Cannes Film Festival- Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor chose to wear a unique yet beautiful Jean Paul Gautier Spring 2009 Couture Gown. She accesorized the gown with a Amrapali Cocktail ring (which I LOVE), Chopard earrings and Ferragamo peep toe heels. At first, I wasn't a big fan of the outfit she chose, but the more I looked at it, the more I admired the uniqueness. You see, someone who can pull off a Masaba Sari with such grace, can definitely pull off this gown and I really do think she did it wonderfully.

This was Sonam's first time on the red carpet at Cannes, as she made her debut as the face of L'Oreal India!

2011 Cannes Film Festival- Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

We can all agree that Aishwarya is naturally beautiful, but I just can't help staring at her pictures from the Cannes Film Festival this year. She looked utterly divine in  the Elie Saab Gown she wore to the opening day cermony on Day 1 and she even pulled off and rocked the Armani Prive gown during the "Sleeping Beauty" Premiere on Day 2. And take a look at that eccentric cuff and her eye makeup, bold move but wise! She definately is the #1 Indian Beauty!

So I wanted to share this freaking awesome Wedding highlights Video I found on Indian Wedding Site. I mean there were some really unique things I saw:

• The LED Dance Floor- I mean how cool is that! I want one in my bedroom.
• The lounge/club decor- perfect for this reception and the wedding party! Love the table lamps for centerpieces!
• The Wedding Party and their Wigs/ Boxer Outfits for the reception entrance. I mean how cute!
• The Brides hair piece during the reception- very chic!
• The Karate Dance?? Don't know how to explain it- must see for yourself- but let me say AWESOME!
