Wedding Party Gifts

Your wedding party are those that you hold nearest and dearest. So, you’re probably trying to think of something meaningful and not tacky that you can give them to show your appreciation.

You see, I'm all about authentic/personal gifts, so my recommendation to you is to sit with your man and think about how you know each person and really think what they might like. To be honest no-one wants a pair of flip flops with your wedding date stamped on them, and a guy definitely does not want cuff links that says "best-man" so maybe opt for cuff links he may actually wear. :)

Give wedding gifts that are functional and memorable. They can be personalized for each person or they can be the same for all the bridesmaids and the same for all the groomsman and so on.

Sometimes, the most appreciated bridesmaid and groomsmen wedding gift is financial assistance. It’s expensive to be a part of a wedding, especially an Indian one with all of the events. To help your bridal party, maybe pay for their bridesmaid or groomsmen attire or accessories.

Other Idea’s Include:

Thumb Drive:
No one ever gets sick of these right? Because they are the easiest thing to lose yet one of the things we use the most. You can get them engraved with your wedding date, or their names, or a special quote that is meaningful to you and your significant other.

Adventure
If you don't want to get anything for your wedding part maybe you can treat them to a spa day and your fiancé can treat his boys to a day at a golf club or another favorite location they all like.

Purses:
I know this might be played out, but I found some cute clutches and you can get the insides engraved. Maybe with the date of your wedding or even each individual girls name on their own clutch. I also found a cute idea where you can get any special message stitched on the inside. This is where you can get creative.

Hangers:
How cute are the personable hangers.? You can either get these for your bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law or for your flower girls. I would love one of these!!!

Jewelry/Cuff-links:
This could be something custom or something you found in a local store that you might want your wedding party to wear the day of the wedding or something that they can wear later on.

Caricutures- If your groomsmen/bridesmaids are all in the same friend circle
Wine Club Membership- You can also get a little Wine Tag to let them know its on its way.
Money Clip- With either their name engraved or a quote.
Gift Cards to their favorite store

My favorite- Look at the Ring Bearer shirt for the special little boy that is a part of your special day.

Also, be creative when you wrap or package your gifts. The added effort and unique little note you may add turns into a cherished memento.

Sweet and Spicy

I Love how this entire bridal shower incorporated the theme into everything- from the invitations, name tags, menu, thank you cards, signature drink and even custom favors. I also thought adding the rock candy and peppers in the invitations was a pretty darn creative idea. By having the sweet and spicy name tags is also a good way of splitting up your group into smaller groups for games and ice breakers. I'm sure there is so much more you can do with this theme to make it your own.

Simply Priyanka

Priyanka Chopra looks simply divine in the Filmfare March 2011 Issue. Thought I would share since she is rocking 2 dresses designed by the king of haute couture himself Rohit Bal.

Boutonniere's Galore

Boutonnieres, French for the "buttonhole flower" were initially worn to ward off bad luck or evil. They are now a fashion statement for men. The options for boutonniere's nowadays are wide as the options for anything else at your wedding...endless. They are no longer traditional, they are trendy and hip. They can either be made out of fresh flowers or be crafted by fabric flowers, paper, feathers, sea shells, pins and anything else you can think of. The style is expanding and evolving for the modern man- roses and baby's breath are the thing of the PAST. So, be inspired and find something creative and that suit's your wedding theme and the groom's style. This can be a great DIY project or you can give some idea's to your crafty friend or a florist to complete.

Here are some idea's for your groom and groomsmen, hope you enjoy!
